The route, and how long it really takes

From the OCCC West or North/South buildings: north on International Drive, typically 5–10 minutes by car or rideshare.

To be straightforward about it: this is a short drive, not a walk. It is roughly two miles, and in Florida heat with a dental abscess that is not a walk worth attempting, whatever other sites may tell you.

The I-Ride Trolley runs the length of International Drive and stops near us, which some delegates find easier than arranging a car at peak times.

Drive times are typical estimates and depend heavily on traffic — International Drive at park closing is slow.

First Aid can help. It cannot treat the tooth.

Every major park has a First Aid center staffed by registered nurses, marked on the park map and in the app. They are genuinely helpful and worth visiting: they will give you ice, over-the-counter pain relief and somewhere quiet and air-conditioned to sit down. What they cannot do is treat the tooth. There is no dentist on site, no dental X-ray, and no way to drain an abscess, cover an exposed nerve, re-cement a crown or take a tooth out. They will tell you to find a dentist — which, at nine in the evening, is where we come in.

What to tell the hotel or concierge

If you are staying at one of the convention hotels, the front desk will usually offer you an urgent-care clinic. Ask specifically for an emergency dentist and give them the address: 7259 International Drive, across from the Titanic show. If you have a booth or a session you cannot miss, tell us when you call — being open overnight means we can usually work around a fixed schedule rather than making you cancel.

How the evening usually goes

6:45 PM — the sessions finish and the thing you have been ignoring all day since the flight is now impossible to ignore.

6:50 PM — you call. We tell you the cost and book you in for that evening.

7:30 PM — you are seen, between the day’s sessions and whatever dinner you are supposed to be at.

You make the morning keynote. That is the actual requirement, and it is why being open outside business hours matters more to delegates than to almost anyone else.

Parking and finding the door

We are at 7259 International Drive, on the second floor, at the corner of International Drive and Carrier Drive — directly across from the Titanic show. There is free surface parking right in front of the building, so you are not paying for a garage or hunting for a meter at midnight. If you are in a rideshare, ask to be dropped at the front of the building rather than the plaza entrance.

Can you see me before the exhibition floor opens?

Yes. Early morning, late evening and overnight are normal appointment times here, which is exactly why convention delegates end up with us.

I need an itemized receipt for expenses or insurance.

No problem — we provide an itemized receipt with standard ADA procedure codes, which is what both employers and insurers ask for.

Is it really walking distance?

No. Some listings claim that; it is about two miles. Take a car, a rideshare or the I-Ride Trolley.
