The route, and how long it really takes

From Epcot or Disney Springs: the quickest run is usually east on I-4 to the Sand Lake Road exit, then a short distance south on International Drive. Typically 15–20 minutes.

From Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom: allow longer — 20–25 minutes on a normal evening, more at park closing, because you also have the internal Disney transport and car parks to clear before you are even on the road.

Park closing is the pinch point. Between about 9 and 10:30 PM every road out of the resort is full. If you are in real pain, leaving before the fireworks finish will genuinely save you half an hour.

Drive times are typical estimates and depend heavily on traffic — International Drive at park closing is slow.

First Aid can help. It cannot treat the tooth.

Every major park has a First Aid center staffed by registered nurses, marked on the park map and in the app. They are genuinely helpful and worth visiting: they will give you ice, over-the-counter pain relief and somewhere quiet and air-conditioned to sit down. What they cannot do is treat the tooth. There is no dentist on site, no dental X-ray, and no way to drain an abscess, cover an exposed nerve, re-cement a crown or take a tooth out. They will tell you to find a dentist — which, at nine in the evening, is where we come in.

What to tell the hotel or concierge

Tell your hotel’s front desk or concierge: “I need an emergency dentist tonight, not an urgent care.” That distinction matters — the default suggestion is almost always a walk-in medical clinic or a hospital ER, and neither has a dentist. Give them the name and the address: 24 Hour Dentist, 7259 International Drive, across from the Titanic show. Most I-Drive and Lake Buena Vista hotels know the building.

How the evening usually goes

8:40 PM — the pain becomes impossible somewhere between rides. You visit First Aid, they give you ibuprofen and tell you to find a dentist.

8:50 PM — you call us. We ask what and where the pain is, quote you the likely cost, and tell you what to do on the way.

9:15 PM — you leave the park. Rideshare pick-up areas at the Disney parks are a walk in themselves; build in ten minutes for that.

9:40 PM — you arrive at International Drive. Free parking in front of the building.

By around 11 PM you are back at your hotel, treated and out of pain, with a park day tomorrow that is still worth getting up for.

Parking and finding the door

We are at 7259 International Drive, on the second floor, at the corner of International Drive and Carrier Drive — directly across from the Titanic show. There is free surface parking right in front of the building, so you are not paying for a garage or hunting for a meter at midnight. If you are in a rideshare, ask to be dropped at the front of the building rather than the plaza entrance.

Questions from visitors

Is it worth leaving the park, or should I wait until tomorrow?

If the pain is bad enough that you are not enjoying the day, tomorrow will be worse, not better — and tomorrow you lose a whole park day instead of an evening. Call and describe it and we will tell you honestly which it is.

Can you treat us if we fly home in two days?

Yes, and it is one of the most common situations we handle. We will aim to get you comfortable and stable for the flight, and send your X-rays and notes to your own dentist for follow-up.

Do you take our insurance from home?

You do not need insurance to be treated here. Most visitors pay cash or card and claim it back afterwards — we provide an itemized receipt with the standard procedure codes insurers ask for.
