What to tell us
- Your child’s age and the tooth involved. A baby tooth and permanent tooth need different advice.
- What happened and when. Explain a fall, sports injury, tooth pain, swelling, or something that came loose.
- Whether there was a head injury. Loss of consciousness, vomiting, a serious face injury, or uncontrolled bleeding needs emergency medical evaluation.
For a knocked-out baby tooth
Do not put a knocked-out baby tooth back into the socket. Call for guidance. If a permanent tooth is knocked out, handle it by the crown and keep it moist while you call.
Call before coming to International Drive
Tell the office what happened so it can discuss the next suitable step for your child.
